I was born to travel! I have visited over 50 countries and embarked on 16 cruises, much of it in the years since I retired from full time work. I love seeing new places and meeting new people. My desire is to pass on my passion for traveling and to see the satisfaction in the faces of those I help.
Fantastic visit home! Edinburgh, Inverness, Urqhart Castle (picture) on the shores of Loch Ness. Amazing history coupled with magnificent scenery made this a very special trip. Of course fish and chips was a must and the steak and ale pie at the Conan Doyle pub was delicious.
What a city! Mixture of ancient and modern. Boat trip down the river at night among the colorfully-lit skyscrapers is not to be missed. Wonderful food and a brilliant side trip to Guangzhou by fast train. Went to tea plantation complete with tasting and stopped in Suzhou, the Venice of the east.
The ultimate destination! So much to see and do and the best Italian food! We toured to Doge Palace, went to a Vivaldi concert in his church, ate in St Mark's square, visited Murano for a glass blowing demonstration and so muvh more! This is one place I want to return!
