We enjoy many type of adventures, but cruises are our favorite. We have cruised on serveral different brands and experience the difference in what each one can bring to your experience. Other adventures being in the USA and Europe and visiting many cultural and food experiences. Other favorite location is Hawaii, especially Kaui and Maui.
14 day Alaska cruise visting Glacier Bay. Wonderul trip as we departed Vancouver to Whittier and Back. The amazing glaciers were a highlight of this cruise, and watching them calve while there was amazing. Justing hearing the loud thunder sound and splach as the Glacier was calving. The ports on the way was great as well and plenty to do.
Staying in Spiez on Lake Thun was an amazing 2 weeks. Visiting the amazing near by towns were breath taking and an adventure in itself. We used the trains as our transportation choice, but I would recommend renting a car to travel as where alot of accommodations may be a walk from train station and usually up hill, also using a car would of been nice, trains were packed.
This was a special trip to see our daughter and husband that are living here for awile. The beaches and many small towns were wonderful to explore. With so many cultural and building historic buildings to explore you need more than 2 weeks or multiple visits to the region. I would recommend renting lounges/umbrellas at the lido clubs for convience and relaxation.
