How to claim and work a lead
Claiming is first come, first served, and creates the trip workspace.
Claiming
Open Leads, read the brief, and claim. Claiming is atomic: one advisor per lead. It creates a trip, a conversation, and an opening message to the traveler.
The first reply
Reference something specific from their brief in the first sentence. Give one concrete next step. Do not send a generic welcome.
Working the trip
- Keep the itinerary in the trip workspace, not in email.
- Save each meaningful revision as a new itinerary version.
- Update trip status so the traveler can see progress.
