Both models promise you leads. The difference is what a lead costs you: Avoya pays a reduced commission split on Avoya-fed leads, Tripdash pays the same 80%+ split on every booking, lead or not.

Avoya Travel is the closest structural comparison to Tripdash in the host agency market. Both give independent advisors client leads instead of telling them to go find their own. That makes the interesting question narrow and specific: what does a lead actually cost you once it converts?
On Avoya, the cost is in the split. On Tripdash, there is no lead-specific cost at all. Everything below is sourced from Avoya's own published material and from trade press covering their commission announcements, with links, current as of September 2026.
Avoya's own FAQ states an initial affiliation setup of $495, a $79 license fee, and a monthly license fee of $79 (Avoya Network FAQ). Veterans and veteran spouses are offered $100 off the affiliation fee. Those are the published numbers to plan around.
There is also an optional tier. Avoya's Elite 100 program, which pays 100% of commission on preferred-supplier bookings an agency brings in itself, was opened at $399 per month (Travel Market Report). Elite 100 applies to your own business, not to Avoya's leads.
This is the part a comparison table flattens, so here it is in full.
Where the lead comes from. Avoya's Live Leads is a long-running, patented lead program: consumer demand generated by Avoya's own marketing, distributed to independent agencies. Tripdash leads come from travellers who complete a planning brief on the Tripdash site, usually after working through a trip with Marlow, our AI planner.
What a lead costs you. Avoya does not charge a stated fee to take a Live Lead. It charges you in the split. Trade coverage is direct about it: the commission split on Live Leads bookings "still looks low, especially when compared to the split for non-Avoya Live Leads bookings", and Avoya's 2025 Premier Commission Program was announced as "up to 65% more higher commission splits on Avoya Live Leads" — an improvement on a rate that was materially below the split on your own bookings (Travel Market Report). Avoya's argument is that a smaller share of a bigger booking is still more money, and for their top producers that holds. But the structure is unambiguous: a lead-sourced booking pays you less per dollar than one you sourced yourself.
Tripdash has no lead fee and no lead-specific split. A trip that arrived as a Tripdash lead pays the same 80% or more of supplier commission as a trip you brought in from your own network. There is no premium tier to buy back your full split, because the full split is the only split.
What state the lead arrives in. A Tripdash lead is not a name and a phone number. It carries the destination, the dates, the budget, the party size and the traveller's own notes, because the traveller built that brief before asking for an advisor. You open it already knowing whether it is worth your afternoon.
Exclusivity. Avoya distributes leads and online bookings to agencies using a patented algorithm weighted on performance metrics. On Tripdash, a lead sits on the leads board and the first advisor to claim it owns it — the claim is atomic, so one lead becomes one advisor's trip, and the client relationship is yours from there.
Avoya has been operating since 1964, has roughly 2,200 contractors, and reports average independent agency gross sales of $350,000 a year. Their supplier leverage in cruise especially is real, their lead volume is large and proven, and weekly commission payment with an optional instant-commission program is a genuine cash-flow advantage. If cruise is your entire business and you intend to scale into their top tier, that is a serious case.
Tripdash suits the advisor who wants the whole operation in one place and does not want their pay rate to depend on where the client came from: AI itinerary planning, flight and hotel search on live inventory, invoicing, payment collection, commission tracking, training and certification, and leads, on one published subscription. No affiliation setup fee, no license fee, no premium split tier, no exit fee. Full pricing is on commission and fees.
Free training, real supplier rates, and commission that lands in your account.
