Short answer: Gifted Travel Network is a genuine, well-regarded luxury host agency with strong coaching and Virtuoso affiliation. It is also one of the more expensive ways into the industry: Host Agency Reviews lists its start-up fee band as $0-$10,000 and its annual fee band as $0-$2,500, with commission splits from 70% to 90% (Host Agency Reviews, profile updated 28 August 2026). Third-party comparison coverage puts typical entry between $499 and $2,999 depending on which program you buy into. Gifted does not publish a single price list on its own site, so the exact number depends on the tier you are sold.
Tripdash publishes one subscription, includes training and certification in it, pays 80% or more of supplier commission from day one, and has no entry tier to pick. If you sell luxury exclusively and want intensive coaching, Gifted is a serious option. If you want a predictable cost and a workspace that runs the whole business, read on.
All Gifted figures below are as of September 2026 and sourced to Gifted's own pages or Host Agency Reviews. Where a tier price is not published by either, the structure is described in words rather than printing a number.
Gifted's published material describes programs rather than prices. Host Agency Reviews, which collects fee data directly from hosts, records:
Those are bands, not a quote. What you actually pay depends on whether you enter through the Travel MBA program as a new advisor or affiliate as an experienced one. The commonly cited entry range in third-party comparisons is $499 to $2,999 — treat that as reported, not as Gifted's published price, and ask for the current tier sheet before signing.
This is the real structural difference, and it is worth understanding rather than scoring.
Gifted's Travel MBA is a full professional-development program for building, branding, launching and scaling a luxury travel business, and Travel Business University continues that with structured curriculum, mentorship and accountability for advisors at every stage. Gifted's own position is that business education and coaching are non-negotiable. That is a coherent product, and for a career-changer with no business background it can be worth the money on its own.
The cost of that model is that education is what you are buying, and the entry price reflects it. On Tripdash, certification and training are inside the subscription. There is no program to purchase, and no version of the platform that withholds training until you upgrade. It is a lighter-touch education than a mentored MBA-style cohort — that is an honest trade, not a win.
Gifted is explicitly and deliberately a luxury host: "An Elevated Hosting Experience for the Luxury Travel Advisor" (giftedtravelnetwork.com). It is a Virtuoso member, and its supplier relationships, community and coaching are all built around advisors selling high-end travel. If your book is not luxury, you are paying for infrastructure you will not use.
Tripdash is not segment-restricted. Luxury, family, adventure, corporate-adjacent leisure — the split, the tools and the leads work the same way regardless of what you sell.
Coaching depth, first of all: mentorship and structured curriculum at that intensity is uncommon among hosts. Virtuoso affiliation gives luxury supplier access and client amenities that an independent platform cannot replicate on its own. And a community of 430 advisors who all sell luxury is a referral and knowledge network with real value. Its Host Agency Reviews standing reflects that.
One published subscription with no entry tier. 80% or more of supplier commission from day one, on every booking, including leads. Marlow AI drafts complete itineraries; flight and hotel search run on live inventory; invoicing, payment collection, commission tracking, training and certification sit in the same workspace. No setup fee, no program purchase, no exit fee. Full pricing is on commission and fees.
